Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 29/10/26
These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments, treatments and services provided by KRISH COSMETICS STUDIO (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By booking an appointment with us, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
Our priority is to provide safe, professional and high-quality treatments while ensuring that appointments are managed fairly for both our clients and our business.
Booking Appointments
Appointments can be booked through Fresha (via website, instagram, and telephone)
When making a booking, you agree to provide accurate and up to date information, including any information relevant to your health, skin, previous treatments and treatment suitability.
Your appointment is not confirmed until any required booking fee or deposit has been received.
By making a booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Booking Deposits
A 50% booking deposit is required to secure all bookings for permanent makeup services.
All Permanent makeup consultations and patch test appointments require a £20 booking fee which may also be deducted from the overall treatment cost should you proceed with treatment.
Your deposit will be redeemable against the cost of your booked treatment and will be deducted from your remaining balance on the day of treatment.
The deposit secures your appointment time specifically for you. By making a booking, you agree to the cancellation and rescheduling terms below.
If you cancel or reschedule with more than 48 hours' notice, you may choose to either:
- receive a refund of your deposit; or
- transfer your deposit to a new appointment.
If we need to cancel your appointment, you will also be offered the option to transfer your deposit to a new appointment or receive a refund.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances can change. We therefore ask for a minimum of 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.
More than 48 hours' notice
If you cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before your appointment:
- Your deposit can normally be transferred to a new appointment.
- You may choose to receive a refund of a deposit paid.
Less than 48 hours' notice
If you cancel or request to reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, your deposit may be retained to cover reasonable losses arising from the late cancellation.
Where we are able to refill your appointment, we may, at our discretion, transfer your deposit to another appointment.
No-show appointments
If you do not attend your appointment and have not contacted us, your deposit may be retained.
Repeated no-shows may result in us requiring payment of a larger deposit or payment in full before accepting future bookings.
Any cancellation charge or retained deposit will be applied reasonably and will not exceed what is justified by the circumstances and our actual or reasonably foreseeable loss.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, your treatment time may need to be shortened in order to avoid delaying other clients.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to treat the appointment as cancelled or rescheduled if there is insufficient time to safely and properly complete the treatment.
Where an appointment cannot proceed because of a late arrival, our cancellation policy may apply.
We will always consider the circumstances and apply the policy reasonably.
Patch Testing
Certain treatments require a patch test before treatment. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Eyelash and eyebrow tinting
- Lash lift treatments
- All permanent make up procedures
- Certain adhesives
- Certain dyes, tints or cosmetic products
- Any other treatment for which a patch test is required by the product manufacturer, our insurer or applicable guidance
Where a patch test is required, it must be completed within the timeframe specified by us and/or the relevant product manufacturer.
A previous patch test carried out by another salon, technician or business may not be accepted as a substitute for our own patch test requirements.
If you do not complete a required patch test, we may be unable to carry out your treatment.
Where a treatment cannot proceed because you have failed to attend a required patch test, our cancellation and booking policies may apply.
A patch test is a safety precaution and does not guarantee that an allergic or adverse reaction will not occur.
You must tell us before treatment if you have previously experienced a reaction to tint, dye, adhesive, pigments, cosmetic products or similar treatments.
Allergies, Medical Conditions & Contraindications
Before treatment, you must provide accurate information about any condition, allergy, medication, previous reaction, treatment or circumstance that may affect your suitability for the service.
This may include information about:
- Allergies or sensitivities
- Previous reactions to cosmetic treatments
- Skin conditions
- Active infections or inflammation
- Medication or medical treatment relevant to the procedure
- Recent cosmetic procedures
- Previous permanent makeup
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding where relevant to treatment suitability
- Any other information requested on our consultation or consent form
You must inform us if any relevant information changes between booking and your appointment.
We may ask for further information or, where appropriate, recommend that you obtain medical advice before proceeding.
Right to Postpone or Decline Treatment
For your safety, we reserve the right to postpone or decline a treatment where we reasonably believe that proceeding may be unsuitable or unsafe.
This may include circumstances where:
- A required patch test has not been completed.
- A contraindication is identified.
- The treatment area has an active infection, irritation or other condition that makes treatment unsuitable.
- Previous PMU makes the requested treatment unsuitable.
- The client has not provided sufficient information to allow us to assess treatment suitability.
- The client is unable to provide informed consent.
- The treatment requested cannot reasonably be carried out safely or to an appropriate professional standard.
Where we decide that treatment should not proceed, we will explain the reason where appropriate and discuss the available options with you.
Unrealistic Expectations & Treatment Suitability
During your consultation, we will discuss your desired results and assess whether the requested treatment is suitable and achievable based on your individual circumstances, including your skin, existing PMU (where applicable), and the nature of the treatment requested.
We reserve the right to decline or postpone treatment where, following consultation, we believe that a client's expectations are unrealistic, cannot reasonably be achieved, or are not aligned with the results that the treatment can safely and appropriately provide.
We believe it is important to be honest and transparent about what can realistically be achieved rather than proceeding with a treatment where we do not feel we can meet your expectations.
Where we feel that another treatment, technique, artist or business may be more suitable for your individual needs or desired outcome, we will do our best to recommend an appropriate alternative where possible.
Our decision to decline treatment is made with the client's best interests and the quality and suitability of the treatment in mind.
If we cancel or postpone a treatment for reasons that are not your fault, we will deal with any deposit or payment fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Permanent Makeup (PMU) Consultations
PMU treatments require a consultation and patch test before the procedure.
During your consultation, we may discuss:
- Your desired shape and colour
- Your expectations
- Your skin type and condition
- Previous PMU
- Existing pigment
- Relevant medical or treatment history
- Treatment suitability
- The expected healing process
- Aftercare requirements
For clients with existing PMU, we may require photographs and an in person consultation before deciding whether a new procedure can be carried out.
In some cases, existing PMU may need to be lightened or removed before a new PMU treatment can be performed.
We reserve the right to decline a PMU treatment where we believe the requested result cannot reasonably be achieved safely or to an appropriate professional standard.
PMU Results & Expectations
Permanent makeup is a cosmetic procedure and results vary from person to person.
Immediately following treatment, the treated area may appear darker, stronger or more defined than the healed result.
During the healing process, colour and appearance may change.
Final results can be affected by factors including:
- Skin type
- Skin condition
- Age
- Lifestyle
- Sun exposure
- Skincare products
- Natural healing
- Aftercare
- Previous PMU
- Individual pigment retention
Because every person's skin heals differently, a specific colour, shape, pigment retention or healed result cannot be guaranteed.
Every effort will be made to work with you to achieve the agreed treatment outcome while taking into account your individual skin and circumstances.
PMU Perfecting / Top-Up Appointments
Where a treatment includes a perfecting or top up appointment, this will be explained at the time of booking.
The recommended timeframe for a perfecting appointment should be followed because healing and pigment retention need to be assessed before further work is carried out.
If you do not attend your included perfecting appointment within the recommended timeframe, an additional charge may apply.
A perfecting appointment does not guarantee a particular final result.
Additional sessions required outside the treatment package may be charged separately.
Existing PMU
If you have previously had permanent makeup performed elsewhere, you must tell us before booking.
We may request photographs or arrange a consultation before accepting your booking.
Existing pigment can affect the shape, colour and final result of new PMU.
In some circumstances, removal or lightening may be recommended before further PMU can be performed.
We cannot be held responsible for the underlying appearance, colour or pigment resulting from previous work carried out by another technician or business.
Aftercare
You will be provided with aftercare instructions appropriate to your treatment.
You are responsible for following the aftercare advice provided to you.
Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect healing, pigment retention and the final appearance of your treatment.
If you experience an unexpected or concerning reaction following treatment, please contact us as soon as possible and seek appropriate medical advice where necessary.
Photography
Before-and-after photographs are taken for your treatment record and to document your results.
We will only use photographs for marketing, social media, website or portfolio purposes where we have obtained your appropriate consent.
You may decline marketing or portfolio photography without affecting your treatment.
Treatment Records
We may keep consultation forms, treatment records, patch-test records, photographs and aftercare information where necessary for the safe and professional provision of your treatments.
Information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.
Payments
Unless otherwise agreed, the remaining balance for your treatment is payable on the day of your appointment.
Card payment is taken to reserve your appointment via Fresha. The remaining balance can be paid by cash or bank transfer.
Prices will be confirmed at the time of booking.
If a treatment requires additional work or products outside the original booking, we will explain any additional cost before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.
Refunds & Treatment Concerns
We want every client to be happy with their experience.
If you have a concern about your treatment, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to understand and, where appropriate, assess the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer an appropriate remedy, which could include advice, a correction or another appropriate solution.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
We will not exclude or limit any liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Our services will be provided with reasonable care and skill as required by applicable consumer law.
Personal Belongings
Please keep valuable personal belongings with you during your appointment.
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Children & Guests
For safety and insurance reasons, children and additional guests may not be permitted in the treatment area.
All treatments and services cannot be given to any persons under the age of 18.
Respectful Behaviour
We are committed to providing a safe, professional and respectful environment for all clients.
We expect clients to behave respectfully towards our staff and other clients.
We reserve the right to end an appointment where a client behaves in an abusive, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate manner.
Where an appointment is ended because of inappropriate client behaviour, any refund or retained payment will be considered according to the circumstances and applicable law.
Health & Safety
We follow appropriate hygiene, sanitation and treatment procedures relevant to the services we provide.
Please follow any health and safety instructions given to you during your appointment.
You must inform us of anything that may affect your ability to safely undergo treatment.
Treatment Advice
Information provided by us relates to the cosmetic treatment being provided and is not intended to replace advice from a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional.
Where you are unsure whether a treatment is appropriate due to a medical condition, medication or other health-related circumstance, you should seek appropriate professional medical advice before booking or proceeding with treatment.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us directly in the first instance.

We will aim to acknowledge your complaint promptly and work with you to understand and resolve the matter fairly.
Changes to Appointments or Services
We may occasionally need to change an appointment due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, illness, emergencies or other circumstances affecting the safe provision of the treatment.
Where we need to change your appointment, we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and offer an alternative appointment where appropriate.
Where a service has not been provided and a refund is due, this will be dealt with in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Changes to These Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version applicable to your booking will generally be the version in effect when you make your appointment, unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed.
The latest version will be available on our website.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law applicable in England and Wales.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
